Do I need the XNote smart pen?
Yes, for digital capture. The notebook's printed pattern works with the XNote smart pen to capture your handwriting. The notebook does not connect to the app on its own.
Which notebook sizes are there?
Mini 3.54 × 5.51 in (144 pages, $19), Standard 5.83 × 8.27 in (192 pages, $29, sold out) and Large 6.93 × 9.37 in (192 pages, $39, sold out). The same pen works with all of them.
Does the app need to stay open?
No. When your phone isn't connected, the pen stores up to 1,000 pages. Import them next time you open the app. Handwriting-to-text and AI need an internet connection.
Are the notebooks reusable?
No. Start a fresh notebook, or print new pages from the app.
Can I use more than one notebook?
Tell the app which notebook you're writing in by setting it as primary. This matters when you write in a Mini or Large notebook, or use two notebooks of the same size, because same-size notebooks share a page pattern.
