Product Warranty
12-month warranty service
From the date of sales invoice issuance, XNote Smart Pen users are entitled to a 12-month warranty service.
This limited warranty supplements, and does not replace, any statutory warranty rights you may have under applicable laws.
Under normal use conditions, if the device experiences performance failures within the warranty period, XNote, Inc. will provide limited warranty service free of charge.
When applying for warranty service, a valid proof of purchase and device identification (such as serial number, if applicable) must be provided.
Warranty coverage
• XNote Smart Pen
Applicable to all XNote Smart Pen models.
Under normal use conditions, functional failures caused by non-human factors are eligible for free repair or replacement.
The following situations are not covered by the warranty:
Unauthorized disassembly or operation
Devices that have been disassembled, repaired, modified, or used outside of official guidelines without authorization.
Damage caused by misuse or external force
Including but not limited to: dropping, collision, bending, improper handling, or exposure to moisture or liquids.
Issues caused by non-official or incompatible accessories
Damage or performance issues caused by third-party or incompatible accessories (such as non-official charging cables or adapters).
Normal wear and appearance damage
Cosmetic damage such as scratches, discoloration, or natural wear of consumable parts.
Force majeure or improper use
Failures caused by natural disasters, accidents, or improper/illegal use of the product.
Products with missing information or abnormal sources
Devices with altered or missing serial numbers, or products that are counterfeit, resold without authorization, or obtained from unofficial channels.
Lost devices and accessories
Loss of the device or accessories due to user-related reasons is not covered.
Additional notes
• XNote Notebook
The XNote notebook is a consumable product and is not covered under this warranty.
However, in the case of a verified manufacturing defect at the time of delivery, a replacement may be provided.
XNote warranty processing
For eligible failures during the warranty period, you have the right to choose one of the following services provided by XNote:
- Repair: Repair the faulty device
- Replacement: Provide a replacement of the same model or equivalent value
XNote will honor your preferred option unless it is impracticable or would impose unreasonable costs.
If neither repair nor replacement can be completed within a reasonable time, you may seek additional remedies under applicable laws.
Legal rights
This warranty grants specific legal rights, which may vary by jurisdiction.
Consumers in certain regions may have additional statutory rights that are not limited or superseded by this warranty.
